Maggie’s dead, Vatican porn: Monday

Thank you, Dangerous Minds, for bringing that vintage video nugget to my attention.

I was shocked to learn of the death of Margaret Thatcher. I didn’t think that was even possible. RIP, Maggie, you will live on in all the great music  you’ve inspired.

Have you ever wondered about the Vatican’s porn downloading preferences? TorrentFreak knows all, tells all!

It looks like astronauts have to bring their own porn. Here’s governmentattic.org’s copy of the “NASA List of books, movies, television shows, and music maintained on the International Space Station (ISS) for recreational/off-duty consumption“, just in case you wondered how the crews spend their “free time”.

While the “poisoned shoe” is legendary in certain theater circles, sock poisoning was a new one on me.

Brooklyn judge Arthur Schack gave a savage bitch-slapping to birther Christopher Earl Strunk over his latest lawsuit challenging Barack Obama’s citizenship. Calling it ‘fanciful, delusional and irrational’, the judge threw out the case and ordered Strunk to pay $167,707 in attorney fees plus a $10,000 sanction for filing the frivolous suit.

In contrast, The Pet Museum presents the historical Welsh valuation of a dead cat.

In closing, I’d like to salute Wonkette for their latest installment of “Sundays with the Christianists”, wherein they examine a Creationist biology textbook that was sooo bad that it was made evidence in a lawsuit over educational standards.
