Faster than a speeding rocket!

From news.discover.com: Lockheed’s system is called Area Defense Anti-Munitions, or ADAM. It’s designed for battlefield use against improvised rockets fired by ground troops or insurgents.

Prenda Law, RIP: The Guardian has a write-up of how the extortionistic copyright troll was lambasted by a Trekkie judge. Ken at Popehat has been following and reporting on the case since the beginning (of the end for Prenda).

Trust us anyway:  Who is flying around Quincy, MA from dusk to dawn for the past ten days or so? Yet somehow, some way, the story of the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, or HAARP, just got sleazier and stranger — all thanks to an elderly physicist named Alfred Wong.

A decade of groundbreaking work by a Danish research team hints that 40% of chronic back pain can be cured with antibiotics rather than surgery.

Is the U.S. finally making peace with the poppies in Afghanistan?

The M-16 vs. Kalashnikov effect? Did a lack of precision on Egypt’s Bent Pyramid leave it in better shape than the later, more precisely constructed pyramids?

Is that a dimensional wormhole opening in Brighton, or just a very bad pot-hole?

To all the old school chums I saw Saturday night at Vintage 1740, it was a damned fine evening. If anyone has photos to share I’d love to see them!
